SARA BACK

Coach

My name is Sara Back, personal trainer, physiotherapist and a former IFBB Bikini Pro athlete. I started my sports career in track&field (100m hurdling) and soccer. No matter what sport I focused on I have always had one single goal – to become the very best. I played soccer on a high national level until I injured my knee at the age of 17. I then moved to Helsinki to focus on my physiotherapy studies and during this time I fell in love with the gym training and nutrition. I loved the fact that you can sculpture and shape your body exactly how you want with the right exercises and nutrition. I created different kind of diets and training programs for myself to achieve the physique I wanted. A few years later (2012) I came across a fitness & bodybuilding competition in Finland. I sat in the audience that year and decided that I will be on that stage the following year. Said and done!

2013 I did my first competition in Finland. I won my first Finnish Champion title and the Overall title in my first competition, qualified for the World’s championships where I ended 5th and won the Arnold Classic Pro qualifier a month later, which allowed me to compete as a Pro. One of my biggest accomplishments is winning the Neva Pro show in Russia 2015 which got me qualified for the Olympia 2016.

Back in 2014 we also founded Trifinity Training together with my brother Robert and sister Camilla. The company name is symbolizing our bound to each other as triplets: Trinity for Infinity. We all have competed on a high level in fitness&bodybuilding and wanted to share our knowledge and start coaching others, After two years when my own career as a pro took off for real I decided to put the coaching part on hold and focus on my own goals.

I decided to end my career in early 2019 because I lost motivation in training. From loving going to the gym all of my life I now hated it. In the fall 2019 I moved to Stockholm, Sweden, and started working at Exxentric as an Area Business Manager. At the same time I started playing beach volleyball, training with more variation in the gym and outdoors and got new insights in performance training. It felt good being back to my roots as a former performance athlete and soon got my training motivation back.

I have always had a great passion for sports in general and love to motivate others to stay active and find joy in a healthy lifestyle. After finishing my own competition career in 2019 and after training in the gym for over 15 years, I have gathered a lot of experience that I now want to share with you. No competition diet I’ve done has been the same as the other. The body has reacted in different ways, I have experienced plateaus, set backs and failed in my diets, but along the way it taught me how to find solutions to all of those issues. All bodies work differently and therefore need different plans. An athlete needs to eat varied, often increase calorie intake to gain muscle mass and strength and have enough energy to be able to perform. Another person may want to loose fat percent but without losing muscle mass. I’m here for all of you! Extreme diets never work and I therefore prioritize finding a sustainable lifestyle where you can both enjoy the road while achieving your goal.
